Easter Egg Hunt

A HUGE thank you to all those who braved the wind 🌬 and rain to attend the Arcola Fair & Stampede’s 3rd annual Easter Egg Hunt!!

⭐️ The Arcola Fair & Stampede society would also like to thank the Arcola Businessman’s Association and the Arcola Optimists for their continued support of our free Easter fun day!

⭐️ Thank you to the Arcola Girl Guides who hosted the kids carnival games, bake sale, and Easter Bunny pictures! The giant nose was a huge hit again! 

⭐️ Thank you to Laurie McLaren who brought three adorable bottle fed baby lambs and the cutest lil Missy dog!

🌟Thank you to Deb Bourhis who brought the cutest lil calves and saved us with straw! ♥️
The kids (and adults) LOVED the animals!!

Thank you VERY much ladies!!!

⭐️ Also thank you to the new owners of our local grocery store, Sol and Kim, who sponsored the juice boxes in the goodie bags and to our amazing Arcola Co-op for allowing us to borrow pens for the lambs and calves!
We are blessed with great local community support!

Arcola Antique Ag Daze is set for Sunday July 28, 2019.

Plans are progressing!  Watch for changes and updates.

 

Kids Zone, an area of fun and activity for children that normally includes bouncy castles, a petting zoo,and games.

-NEW: Stick Horse Rodeo

-the Home and Craft Exhibits, hand made, baked or crafted items, including art and writing from our local school that is judged and awarded prizes.

-Demos and Displays: A hands on chance to experience old and new skills

Entertainment: Vern and Friends, The Caragana Ramblers and Chris Byrne

Tractor Pull: Vintage and antique tractor weight pull competition where prizes and trophies are awarded in each category.

Supper in the Pavilion: a community supper catered to by Cindy and Rylan Weir from Manor.

Next meeting April 29, 7 pm at Crescent Point Ag Pavilion OR Arcola Public Library if weather is poor.
